Manchester Farmers Market has re-launched as the Real Food Market, and is still in Piccadilly Gardens. Launched on April 24, 2009, the mission of this market is a simple one - to bring fresh food to the residents of Manchester.

The market boasts a great selection of farmers and producers offering something unique to city dwellers by bringing their fresh homegrown and home-reared produce from the local farms into the heart of the city. The farmers are joined by traders offering all manner of culinary delights from across the region.

You will find everything from local fresh meats, chutneys, olives, bread, cup cakes, pies, Caribbean food and much more. You can even indulge yourself with luxury puddings, ice cream, specialist ales and fine wines.

The market is held twice monthly, on the second and fourth weekend (Friday and Saturday) of each month. It is open between 10am and 6pm.
